A former client of mine recommended Meebo.com to me quite some time ago and I finally got around to using it. I don’t know what I ever did without it in the past.
For those of you not familiar with Meebo, it basically combines all your instant messenger accounts into a single use website where you can login into all of them at the same time. I regularly use ICQ, Yahoo Messenger, Windows Live Messenger and even Facebook chat to speak with my clients. Previously I had to load up different programs to interact but now I can simply login into my account on Meebo and use them all at the same time.
The other benefits of convenience is the fact that you are not constantly hassled about upgrading the current version of your script or the annoying “Welcome” pop-up windows that the other services have. It also is a lot more efficient using less system resources.
