Do I need vps hosting to start a social media site?

I recently had a customer ask the following question… “Do I need vps hosting to start a social media site?”. The answer is definitely a yes on this one.

If you attempt to start your social media site on cheap virtual shared hosting you are most likely going to have to upgrade sooner rather then later, especially if you have some success. Unfortunately I don’t follow everyone back but do review everyone’s account. Your Twitter profile page is what I use to make that decision and the longest I generally take is about five seconds to decide whether your tweets are going to be of importance to me. SlimTimer is an amazing free time tracking website for freelancers

I’ve been struggling a bit lately with keeping by billable time straight as I work on multiple projects. In addition to that I have also been questioning whether or not I have been charging the proper rates on certain writing projects because I am using best guesses as to the overall length of time that I worked on the project over several days. Feeling a bit scattered and nervous about this side of my freelance work, I decided to search online to find a tracking tool to assist.
